Calm for Your
Big Day.
For everyone who has a role to play at a wedding and really doesn't want
to fall apart.
“I’ve tried dozens of tools and none came close to the shifts I experienced with Michelle. She’s brilliant, sensitive and wonderfully down-to-earth. If you’re struggling with anxiety of any kind, she’s the one to see.”

Enjoy your own wedding.
You've planned everything.
Except how you're going to feel.
This is for you if...
You're a best man who'd rather fake an illness than stand up and speak.
You're a bride running on no sleep and everyone else's opinions.
You're a groom who's been "fine" for months and suddenly really isn't.
You're a father of the bride who always knew this day was coming and still isn't ready.
Mothers who may be doing a speech, or nervous their hats are too flamboyant.
You're a bridesmaid, who has been planning hen parties for months and carrying more than you're letting on.
You get the gist
Nobody plans a wedding expecting to spend the day in a quiet panic. But a lot of
people do.
The speech you've been dreading for six months. The morning nerves that hit harder than expected. The family dynamics that have been simmering for years and choose today to surface.
I’ve seen it all.
Hello! I'm Michelle. I've photographed weddings, a lot of them.
I’ve got to know the couple before their big day, and then be the only one not connected to them, so they’d confide and reach out to me.
Which means I've watched everything unfold in real time. The best man knocking back Dutch courage. Shaking hands. The bride needing five minutes and someone to hold her hand, often me, with a tissue at hand. The couples I'd quietly nudge outside for a moment alone because it was the only chance they'd get all day.
I've also been on the other side. As a guest of course, and I gave the bridesmaid speech at my sister's wedding. It went well. I forgot the toast. I could have done with someone telling me it didn't matter, rather than that moment sending me straight to the bar.
What actually changes
Most wedding nerves aren't really about the wedding.
The best man who starts on the beers at 10am worried about the speech. There's usually something older underneath it, a memory, a moment, a voice that said you weren't good enough in public.
The bride who can't stop crying the morning of isn't being dramatic. Her nervous system is flooded, and nobody has given her a way through it.
There's something that might surprise you.
EFT Tapping, heard of it? It works directly with the nervous system. By tapping on specific points on the face and body while focusing on what's bothering you, you send a calming signal to the part of the brain that's decided today is a threat.
One session helps. But here's the thing about nerves that have been building for months: one session takes the edge off, and a few sessions actually rewire the response. So instead of white-knuckling through the speech, you're someone who genuinely can start to look forward to it. Instead of dreading the morning, you're present for it.
It’s also a handy trick you can use in the loo, before your speech. Wanna know how?
I'm a qualified EFT practitioner, trained and certified. I've worked with clients since 2021 on everything from performance anxiety to driving fear and public speaking, and I've seen (and more importantly experienced) first-hand how fast it can shift something that's been stuck for years.
That's the difference between coping and actually enjoying the day you've been looking forward to and spent a fortune on.

Things people often wonder
-
I haven’t done life in a straight line.
I’ve tried things, changed direction, lived in different places, taken risks, and ended up in a few different worlds along the way. Some of it’s been totally amazing, other’s I’ve ‘failed’ at. All of it’s taken more effort than expected.
I just moved to Cornwall age 49 alone. I have no plans to stop, I will continue to ebb and flow.So I get the mental side of doing things that matter. For “feeling the Fear and doing it Anyway” I’m sure my Mum having that on the bookshelf as a kid inspired me!
You don’t need to be perfect, but you do need to get up and keep going, and it helps when your head is in the right place.
That’s how I work. Simple, grounded, and based in real life.

Tapping is a simple technique in which we gently tap a few points on the, face, body and hands while focusing on what’s going on.
We tap on acupuncture points - without the needles!
It helps the nervous system settle, which often quiets the noise in your head as well.
Hence, it’s called Emotional Freedom Technique. -
It’s a calm, practical conversation. We talk, we tap, and we work with whatever feels most present to you. Every session is different, and there are different tapping techniques to help calm you, depending on where you are at.
-
Most sessions are online, which works really well. There’s no travel, and it’s easy to fit around your life.
In-person work tends to take place in more immersive settings like retreats or group workshops.

Yes. You don’t need to believe in it. You just need to be willing to try it and see how it feels.

Why I work with EFT Tapping
I came to EFT Tapping first as a client, back in 2018 when I was struggling with severe insomnia.
I watched it create real, lasting shifts in myself and in people I love.
Patterns that felt stuck began to soften. Old emotional weight lifted. Every day life felt clearer, lighter, more spacious.
So I trained professionally with EFT Master Karl Dawson in EFT and Matrix Reimprinting, because I wanted to understand why it worked, and how to bring that same steady, meaningful change to others.
EFT is simple, but it’s not simplistic.
It helps the body and mind calm enough to access clarity, confidence and new possibilities.
Matrix Reimprinting works more deeply, transforming the emotional roots of patterns that keep looping.
Life doesn’t have to be falling apart to feel heavy.
Even when things look “fine” on the outside, your inner world can get noisy, with old patterns, old stories, subtle stress, and emotional clutter.
EFT (Emotional FREEDOM Technique) is a
grounded, effective approach for people who want clarity, confidence and steady momentum.
